Happy Mother's Day

It has been a long long time since I updated my blog.  I have added Cooper and Brock to our family.  They were born last November.  Robert has quit working at Stephens, and started a job in Salt Lake City working as a CFO for a Jimmy John's franchisee.  I am going to leave Arkansas next week for Utah.  It has been a lot of work to have the 4 kids by myself while Robert has been gone.  Fortunately, I was invited to a friends house for dinner yesterday.  It was a great Mother's Day.  Max and Kate filled out "All About My Mom" forms.  They were so darling to read.  I feel really blessed to be a mom.  I am also really grateful for my Mom.  I do not know how she managed to raise 11 kids!  Wow!

August: St. George

We stayed with Rob's parents for a few days.  Kids had a blast playing with cousins every day.

We also swam.  A lot.  Max and Kate are both fish in the water.  Alisha is an amazing teacher, and she was able to help them progress with their floating, strokes, diving, etc.

They loved getting their stamps at the end of every lesson.

We went bowling one afternoon.  Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Wish I had more pictures from our time in St. George.  We love making memories!

Zion Ponderosa Part 2

Everyone loved riding in Mark's truck.

Zion's National Park.  It really is gorgeous.

Kate and Max being silly.

Beautiful!

It was so much fun seeing everyone this summer.

August: Zion Ponderosa

Rob's family had a reunion at Zion Ponderosa.  We stayed in a beautiful home/cabin with all of his family.  It was a lot of fun.  There were a couple of presentations in the theater room, and we enjoyed seeing the pics and hearing the stories from all.

During the day we would spend most of our time at Ponderosa Ranch.  They had lots of activities to participate in.  Max enjoyed the trampoline.

Max and Kate both LOVED to mini-golf.  Only they didn't actually want to golf.  They wanted to throw their balls into the water traps (and then watch it come out at by the hole).

They could sit on the ATV, but they were not old enough to drive it.

Posing with cousins!

Rob was able to take them in the "big" ATV.  They went around, around, and around a very small course for 30 minutes!!  It would've made me sick to drive in circles for that long, but they loved it.

Kate trying her hand at the wheel.

Max's turn.

Fishing for golf balls, that they intentionally threw in.

They did actually golf, although it was rare.

We attended a little rodeo one evening.  Rob and I took a bunch of the kids.

To be continued...
